Why Choose Flexa Marine Carpeting?
-
Unparalleled Quality: Our marine-grade carpeting is manufactured using the finest materials, ensuring exceptional durability and longevity. Crafted to withstand harsh marine conditions, our carpets are built to last.
-
Multiple Thickness Options: We offer Flexa Marine Carpeting in a range of thicknesses to cater to diverse needs. Choose from our 16oz, 20oz, 24oz, or 28oz options, depending on your specific requirements and preferences.
- When choosing the right weight of marine carpeting for your boat, several factors should be considered to determine the most suitable option. Here are some key considerations to help you make an informed decision:
- 16oz: Best used with smaller boats like kayaks or personal watercraft which may require lighter-weight marine carpeting (e.g., 16oz) due to their size and weight limitations. 16oz marine carpeting is also great for fishing boats and side walls as it's more pliable and easier to work around the edges and around curves.
- 20oz is one of our more popular options as it is both affordable and works for most applications.
-
24oz is most popular for pontoons as people enjoy the softness and extra padding this provides.
- 28oz is for commercial and heavy uses
-
Boat Size and Type:
- Smaller boats like kayaks or personal watercraft may require lighter weight marine carpeting (e.g., 16oz) due to their size and weight limitations.
- Larger boats such as yachts or commercial vessels may benefit from heavier weight marine carpeting (e.g., 24oz or 28oz) to withstand greater foot traffic and potential wear and tear.
-
Intended Use and Environment:
- Consider how you plan to use your boat. If it's primarily for recreational purposes or occasional use, a medium-weight marine carpet (e.g., 20oz) may suffice.
- For commercial or heavy-use applications, or if you often encounter extreme weather conditions, a heavier weight marine carpet (e.g., 24oz or 28oz) with superior durability and longevity might be more appropriate.
-
Foot Traffic and Durability:
- Evaluate the anticipated foot traffic on your boat. Higher foot traffic areas, such as entryways or common walkways, may benefit from a heavier weight marine carpeting to withstand constant use.
- If you expect heavy usage or have pets on board, opting for a more durable and resilient marine carpeting with a higher weight (e.g., 24oz or 28oz) can help extend its lifespan.
- Personal Preference and Budget:
-
- Consider your personal preferences for carpet thickness, appearance, and comfort. Thicker marine carpeting generally provides a softer feel underfoot.
-
- Additionally, keep in mind your budget constraints, as higher weight marine carpeting may come at a higher cost.
-
It's recommended to consult with marine carpeting manufacturers, boat dealers, or professionals experienced in boat carpet installations. They can provide specific recommendations based on your boat's characteristics, intended use, and personal preferences. Additionally, reading customer reviews and seeking advice from other boat owners can offer valuable insights into the performance and suitability of different marine carpet weights.
-
Stain Resistant: Accidental spills and stains are a common occurrence in marine settings. However, with our stain-resistant marine carpeting, you can bid farewell to stubborn stains and easily maintain a pristine appearance.
-
Mold and Mildew Resistant: Moisture and humidity can lead to mold and mildew growth, which not only affects the aesthetics but also poses health risks. Our marine carpeting is specially treated to resist mold and mildew, providing you with a cleaner and healthier environment.
-
UV Treated: Continuous exposure to sunlight can cause color fading and deterioration of carpet fibers. Our UV-treated marine carpeting is specifically designed to withstand the damaging effects of UV rays, ensuring long-lasting vibrancy and performance.
-
3-Year Warranty: We stand behind the quality of our marine carpeting, which is why each purchase is backed by a comprehensive 3-year warranty. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your investment is protected.
-
Versatile Applications: Our Flexa Marine Carpeting is not limited to boats alone. It is also an excellent choice for outdoor patios, decks, and RVs. Its versatility makes it an ideal flooring solution for various recreational settings.
-
Easy Installation: Installing our marine carpeting is a breeze. To enhance your experience, we also offer marine-grade padding and boat flooring glue, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free installation process.
Minimum Order and Purchase Information:
Please note that there is a minimum order requirement of 5 feet for our Flexa Marine Carpeting, which is sold by linear foot. This ensures that you have the perfect amount to cover your desired area while minimizing waste.
Shipping:
Most Flooring ships in 3-4 business days. During peak spring and fall season this can take 7 days. We, unfortunately, do not offer free shipping as there is a real cost to shipping, but we do offer you affordable options. Unlike other flooring companies, they will always fold it to save money. We know that not everyone wants their flooring folded and as a result, we like to give you options. We know the folding won't hurt your flooring as the wrinkles do come out, but it can take 24+ hours laid out in a warm environment. We know some people also don't like to wait or take the chance so we also ship the marine carpet rolled at a higher cost as its a large package and gets hit with oversized package fees.

Return Policy
To help prevent returns we strongly suggest getting a sample before purchasing. Please note we do accept returns. You can return most new and unopened flooring in the original packaging within 30 days of delivery. We recommend opening an end slightly to ensure it's correct before fully opening. If we make an error we always make it right and will always do our best to ensure you are happy with your product.
